"CD Looper is a very creative and fresh approach to the often tedious task of learning particular musical passages in one's repertoire. It employs a wonderful new technology which builds on rather than replaces existing technologies. This greatly enhances the intuitive feel of the program. I recommend its use to all levels of musicians whether classical, jazz, rock, etc."

"CD Looper is a tool with great potential for musicians of all types. It makes possible the accurate transcription of complex, rapid solo works from recordings. CD Looper is a fine window into the analysis of musical ideas and can be a great help to teachers and students."

I've used almost every transcription tool known to mankind - but this thing (CD Looper) is incredible. I get called to do all kinds of gigs, and I'm always transcribing. I can use it for every gig I'm called to do, from sessions to live shows. The days of having that half-speed tape deck are over - no more broken rewind buttons and broken tape. I highly recommend this to ANYONE looking to improve their playing. Don't take the TAB books word for it - do it yourself and know it's right."

By using CD Looper's looping and slow down features, musicians of all levels are afforded the opportunity to gain insights into details of technical execution, phrasing and style that might otherwise be missed. What an excellent teaching tool for instrumental and vocal music of all kinds!

"CD Looper and NoteGrabber (from the Plug-Ins Collection #1) are two of the most useful music applications for the modern musician. Too often software for musicians tends to be too expensive and too difficult to use, requiring a manual that resembles a phone book. CD Looper and NoteGrabber virtually run themselves they're so simple. Recording from CDs as well as any line-in signal makes for easy creation of excellent sounding wav files. This gives the software its strong sonic base from which to build the half speed files. Its very exciting not to feel overwhelmed when you hear a fast guitar or horn passage on a recording and know it won't be impossible to transcribe. As for drum passages , its a pleasure to hear every drum being played and how they're pitched. Hearing quick figures and being able to tune your drums to the exact recorded pitches makes CD Looper and NoteGrabber the most useful learning tool to date."

As a working musician, I have precious little time to work on my craft. So when it comes to new software, it has to quickly show its worth. Well, let me say that I am going to be using CD Looper Pro for a long time to come. Within minutes I was recording myself playing lead over some backing tracks with the great OverDubber PlugIn. I started blowing out riffs, one after another. I then used NoteGrabber to slow down one of them. Wow! I could hear every nuance of my playing. This software is great! From now on, whether I am composing new songs or transcribing old ones, CD Looper Pro will be there right with me!

"Great rehearsal tool. Windows software that allows you to loop a phrase from CD and replay it over at slow-normal speed with no pitch variation."
